Job Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted throughout any assigned shift

- Understand and follow Health Department regulations obtaining a Food Handler's Certificate within 10 days of employment

- Read and understand recipes including extending recipes
- Perform basic math for recipe measurements
Job Duties
- Prepare food for the salad bar and hot case ensuring organized and efficient cooking and heating
- Cook and heat prepared foods for service under time and temperature guidelines
- Stock and present the hot case and salad bar in an appealing way throughout the day
- Set up the salad bar soup station and hot bar case within specified time standards
- Maintain a well-stocked service area handling tasks such as changing pans labeling restocking and cleaning
- Uphold quality food handling standards including proper preparation rotation and storage in compliance with health regulations
- Monitor and maintain proper temperatures in the hot case recording temperature logs
