Job Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted throughout any assigned shift

Job Qualifications
- Understand and follow Health Department regulations, obtaining a Food Handler’s Certificate within 10 days of employment
- awareness of handling allergen-containing products
- friendly and outgoing personality
- basic cutlery and cooking skills
- ability to use kitchen equipment as per specifications
- prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- read and understand recipes, including extending recipes
- perform basic math for recipe measurements
Job Duties
- Prepare food for the salad bar and hot case, ensuring organized and efficient cooking and heating
- cook and heat prepared foods for service under time and temperature guidelines
- stock and present the hot case and salad bar in an appealing way throughout the day
- set up the salad bar, soup station, and hot bar/case within specified time standards
- maintain a well-stocked service area, handling tasks such as changing pans, labeling, restocking, and cleaning
- uphold quality food handling standards, including proper preparation, rotation, and storage in compliance with health regulations
- monitor and maintain proper temperatures in the hot case, recording temperature logs
