Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in safety and security desired
- ability to read, write and speak English
- valid Florida driver’s license
- ability to work more than 8 hours a day and occasional weekends and holidays
- genuine interest in caring for and serving older adults
- ability to lift and exert up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to work in varying climatic and day/evening conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- courses in safety and security preferred
- basic knowledge of computer applications
- demonstrated strong customer service skills
- previous safety and security training and experience
- approved CPR certification
- ability to make sound decisions under pressure
Job Duties
- Assists the Manager of Safety and Security in developing, implementing, and amending Fleet Landing's Safety and Security Standard Operating Procedures
- supervises the daily operations of the Safety and Security department
- ensures that all incidents of safety and security breaches/incidents are documented, investigated, and reported to the Manager of Safety and Security
- provides Manager of Safety and Security and staff schedules to provide optimal safety and security support to Fleet Landing
- evaluates and updates safety and security practices with best practice techniques
- functions under pressure, making immediate and sound decisions
- supervises the ordering of uniforms
- develops, implements, and supervises the Field Training Program for new members of the team
