Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in safety inspections or emergency response preferred
- strong observational and problem-solving skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- availability to work weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform inspections including walking and standing for extended periods
- valid driver's license for operating emergency vehicles
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- candidates must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday for summer operation
- full availability for opening and/or closing shifts during spring operating season
- ability to work up to 8 hour shifts
- passion for helping others and supporting guests and associates
- enthusiasm for California's Great America and its mission
Job Duties
- Perform routine fire and safety inspections
- respond to and assist with emergency scene management
- conduct weekly fire and safety drills
- perform follow-up inspections for corrective action
- partner with departments to create safety solutions
- assist with regular maintenance of emergency equipment
- operate and maintain emergency response vehicles
- complete and maintain audit and inspection documentation
- provide guest service according to Six Flags standards
- maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area
- assist with other duties as required
