Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Serve as chairman of the safety committee
  • Conduct safety briefings and safety committee meetings
  • Submit all monthly safety meeting minutes and briefing reports to Swissport corporate
  • Verify that all safety procedures are followed regarding PPEs, seat belts, speed, and proper driving techniques, taking appropriate action and reporting issues to upper management
  • Maintain equipment fleet including daily user checks and scheduled preventive maintenance
  • Coordinate with local repair and maintenance representatives to ensure equipment is properly maintained and in service
  • Ensure equipment monthly hour readings are done and reported
  • Enter all workers compensation claims, equipment damage, and building damage into SMT within 24 hours
  • Conduct specialized on-the-job training on equipment checks and usage such as tugs and forklifts
  • Manage and maintain safety and equipment related records for regulatory compliance
  • Liaise with Fueling Manager and departmental managers regarding safety training needs
  • Perform other safety and equipment related assignments as assigned by management
