Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years of safety management experience on large-scale construction projects
- working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926, NFPA, and ANSI standards
- relevant safety certifications such as CHST, CSP, or OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification
- ability to work in high-paced environments and manage multiple priorities
- proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- ability to comprehend and communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years of safety management experience on large-scale construction projects
- data center construction experience preferred
- working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926, NFPA, and ANSI standards
- relevant certifications such as CHST, CSP, or OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification
- experience with mission-critical facilities including MEP, generators, and UPS systems is advantageous
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- familiarity with contractor safety management platforms such as ConstructSecure and ISNetworld
- bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Job Duties
- Develop, implement, and manage site-specific safety plans in accordance with OSHA and client standards
- lead safety briefings, toolbox talks, and site safety orientations for workers and contractors
- perform routine site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments, documenting findings and ensuring corrective actions
- act as primary on-site contact for incident response, investigation, and reporting
- coordinate with construction managers, project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure all operations comply with safety regulations
- maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety documentation including JSAs, incident logs, PPE usage, and permits
- oversee safe installation and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and IT infrastructure systems in data centers
- support compliance with environmental and fire/life safety regulations
- facilitate periodic HSE training programs on various safety topics
- report KPIs and safety metrics to corporate leadership and clients
