Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years experience in occupational safety and health management
- knowledge of EHS regulations and standards including Cal OSHA, Fed OSHA, NFPA
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
- proficiency in Smartsheet and Google Suite
- valid California driver's license
- ability to travel occasionally
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- CSP and/or ASP certification preferred
- strong analytical skills
- high attention to detail
- ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

- 5+ years of experience in occupational safety and health management
- experience with safety program development and implementation
- understanding of EHS regulations and standards including Cal OSHA, Fed OSHA, NFPA
- CSP and/or ASP certification preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English verbally and in writing
- multilingual ability a plus
- expertise in Smartsheet and Google Suite
- strong analytical and detail-oriented skills
- excellent follow-through and ability to follow instructions

Job Duties
- Support operations to ensure associate safety and minimize injuries
- Monitor training compliance and ensure all safety training occurs
- Develop proactive processes, procedures, systems, tools and metrics to drive continuous improvement and prevent future injuries
- Lead the development of risk mitigation tools such as accident prevention plans, safe operating procedures, job safety analysis (JSA), and monthly safety meetings
- Perform on site accident investigations and inspections of company locations and provide analysis to develop corrective action
- Conduct site safety walks quarterly to identify safety concerns
- Meet with site teams to discuss safety concerns and opportunities to reduce risk
- Partner with engineering and design teams to resolve identified hazards
- Coordinate and attend site fire risk engineering inspections and review recommendations
- Act as the Business Continuity lead for the region including event response and plan management
- Provide associate support and technical expertise for various safety issues and laws
- Ensure building fire and life safety systems are compliant and inspections are up to date
- Create and maintain incident response plans
- Develop safe equipment operating techniques and monitor knowledge
- Research and promote up-to-date personal protective equipment
- Stay current with Occupational Safety and Health subject matter and techniques
- Collaborate with Corporate Risk to assess and mitigate safety concerns
