Job Requirements
- valid BCSP certifications
- minimum 5 years of experience in safety management in large commercial construction
- ability to work 40-55 hours per week, Monday through Saturday
- willingness to work on-site in Columbus, OH
- strong oversight and communication skills
- ability to handle safety documentation and contractor correspondence
- capacity to perform EHS-related tasks within certified skills
Job Qualifications
- BCSP certifications
- at least 5 years of safety management experience overseeing large commercial construction work
- strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- proven ability to manage safety protocols on-site
- ability to conduct safety training and orientations
- competency in document review and safety record management
Job Duties
- Conducting project safety inspections and orientations
- safety training as requested/required
- observation and monitoring of worksite employees and safety practices
- complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management
- other tasks and activities within the realm of the EHS profession within the manager's skills, abilities, certifications, and authorizations
- communicating safety standards between trades, GC and sub-contractors
