Job Requirements

  • valid BCSP certifications
  • minimum 5 years of experience in safety management in large commercial construction
  • ability to work 40-55 hours per week, Monday through Saturday
  • willingness to work on-site in Columbus, OH
  • strong oversight and communication skills
  • ability to handle safety documentation and contractor correspondence
  • capacity to perform EHS-related tasks within certified skills

Job Qualifications

  • BCSP certifications
  • at least 5 years of safety management experience overseeing large commercial construction work
  • strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proven ability to manage safety protocols on-site
  • ability to conduct safety training and orientations
  • competency in document review and safety record management

Job Duties

  • Conducting project safety inspections and orientations
  • safety training as requested/required
  • observation and monitoring of worksite employees and safety practices
  • complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management
  • other tasks and activities within the realm of the EHS profession within the manager's skills, abilities, certifications, and authorizations
  • communicating safety standards between trades, GC and sub-contractors
