Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in health, environmental, and safety within oil and gas operations
- Proven knowledge of federal, state, and local HES regulations
- Ability to develop and implement safety programs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel frequently within the shale division work locations
- Must meet all conditional job offer requirements including background check, drug test, hair follicle test, MVR, agility, and fit-for-duty assessment
- Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in health, environmental, and safety within oil and gas operations
- Demonstrated proactive attitude towards personal safety and the safety of co-workers, contractors, and the public
- Working knowledge of HES regulatory requirements at federal, state, and local levels
- Experience in developing, delivering, and managing safety, health, and environmental programs
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to influence behaviors to create a safer working environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate with employees, contractors, landowners, city officials, and regulatory personnel to reduce safety and environmental incidents
- Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Team-oriented, flexible, self-starter with minimal supervision
- Proficient in computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
- HES-related degree or certifications strongly preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
Job Duties
- Develop and implement new and existing programs designed to improve HES performance
- Plan and coordinate emergency response activities
- Conduct audits and assessments, maintaining accurate records
- Handle internal and external HES reporting
- Develop and prepare written reports on safety and environmental matters
- Travel to various work locations within the Shale Division
- Conduct various safety meetings with employees and customers
- Review injuries to determine leading and lagging indicators
