Job Requirements

  • Valid BCSP certifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in safety management for large commercial construction projects
  • Ability to work 40-55 hours per week Monday through Saturday
  • Willingness to work on-site in Columbus, OH
  • Strong observational and communication skills
  • Capable of managing safety documentation and training sessions
  • Contract works under 1099 status

Job Qualifications

  • BCSP certifications
  • At least 5 years of safety management experience overseeing large commercial construction work
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems installation safety standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct thorough safety inspections and documentation
  • Proficiency in managing contractor correspondence and safety documents

Job Duties

  • Conducting project safety inspections and orientations
  • Safety training as requested/required
  • Observation and monitoring of worksite employees and safety practices
  • Complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management
  • Other tasks and activities within the realm of the EHS profession within the manager's skills, abilities, certifications, and authorizations
  • Communicating safety standards between trades, GC and sub-contractors
