Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10-20 years of general construction experience
  • OSHA 30-hour training required
  • Licensed site safety manager in NYC
  • Certified fire safety manager in NYC
  • Hold a 62-hour SST card
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a site safety manager in NYC

  • OSHA 30-hour training certification
  • Licensed site safety manager in NYC
  • Certified fire safety manager in NYC
  • Hold a 62-hour SST card
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a site safety manager in NYC

Job Duties

  • Implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA rules and regulations
  • Monitor effectiveness of the safety management system and progress against Structure Tone safety Performance Standards
  • Lead and provide functional management for safety personnel
  • Plan and implement programs to train managers and employees in work site safety practices, fire prevention, and handling techniques
  • Inspect facilities to detect potential accident and health hazards, determine corrective measures, and ensure implementation
  • Ensure prompt alerting of significant accidents and incidents, participate in investigations, and report findings
  • Compile and submit accident reports required by regulatory agencies
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual safety management reports on safety performance
  • Review accident and incident reports to identify trends and ensure response to prevent recurrence
  • Meet regularly with safety personnel to monitor and review function management
  • Report safety performance at management team meetings
  • Consult with Corporate Safety Director on division safety management
