Job Requirements

  • 5 - 7 years experience in the construction and/or manufacturing field
  • Reliable vehicle for travel to job sites
  • Ability to travel 50% weekly including out-of-town travel
  • Maturity and professionalism
  • Flexibility for early morning work start times
  • Experience in risk assessment, emergency response and incident management
  • Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service experience interacting with senior management and clients
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to pass drug test and background check
  • Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
  • Organized and self-motivated
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules

Job Qualifications

  • Certified OSHA 500 Train the Trainer
  • 5 - 7 years experience in the construction and/or manufacturing field
  • Demonstrated experience in risk assessment, emergency response and incident management
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Computer literate and ability to learn multiple software programs
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Organized and self-starter with flexibility to change in schedule

Job Duties

  • Inspect construction sites and manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance and promote prevention
  • Conduct safety incident investigations and complete associated infraction reports
  • Conduct safety training
  • Provide risk assessment of construction to evaluate safety hazards and offer remedial action
  • Evaluate contractor operational practices and equipment for safety compliance
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines
  • Maintain clear documentation and communication with management and stakeholders
