Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of safety management experience ideally in an industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
  • Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to conduct safety inspections and investigations
  • Willingness to travel to eligible locations such as Phoenix, AZ
  • Jacksonville, FL
  • Atlanta, GA
  • Dallas, TX
  • Houston, TX
  • Tulsa, OK
  • Commitment to fostering a proactive safety culture

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of safety management experience, ideally in an industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
  • CSP, ASP, or similar certifications a plus
  • Excellent communication, training, and presentation abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with safety management software is a bonus
  • A proactive problem-solver with a passion for building a strong safety culture

Job Duties

  • Lead safety programs by developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures aligned with OSHA, state, and local regulations
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure adherence to standards
  • Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Deliver engaging safety training programs on topics like hazard communication, fall protection, and lockout/tagout
  • Collaborate with leadership and staff to promote a proactive, positive safety culture
  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices to keep programs current and effective
  • Oversee safety equipment, supplies, and maintain accurate records of training, inspections, and incidents
