Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • clean driving record
  • legal eligibility to work in the US
  • ability to travel regionally and nationally occasionally
  • physical ability to handle 50-75 lbs frequently
  • ability to walk, stand, climb and work in various weather conditions
  • ability to pass pre-employment testing

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree
  • 5-7 years of safety management experience
  • focus on OSHA and FMCSA regulations
  • excellent communication skills
  • problem-solving skills
  • ability to develop and implement safety training
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • proactive and customer-focused attitude
  • strong commitment to workplace safety

Job Duties

  • Conducts safety meetings
  • performs internal inspections, audits and reports
  • coordinates and presents safety training
  • investigates and assists with accident and injuries
  • prepares and files injury and incident reports
  • collaborates with adjusters to manage accident claims
  • maintains regulatory documentation and performs job safety analysis
  • develops annual personal growth program with Regional Safety Manager
  • ensures adherence to accident prevention programs and safety regulations
  • participates in training and learning opportunities to expand knowledge
  • performs any other duties to support company vision and mission
