Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- clean driving record
- legal eligibility to work in the US
- ability to travel regionally and nationally occasionally
- physical ability to handle 50-75 lbs frequently
- ability to walk, stand, climb and work in various weather conditions
- ability to pass pre-employment testing
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree
- 5-7 years of safety management experience
- focus on OSHA and FMCSA regulations
- excellent communication skills
- problem-solving skills
- ability to develop and implement safety training
- knowledge of Microsoft Office
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- proactive and customer-focused attitude
- strong commitment to workplace safety
Job Duties
- Conducts safety meetings
- performs internal inspections, audits and reports
- coordinates and presents safety training
- investigates and assists with accident and injuries
- prepares and files injury and incident reports
- collaborates with adjusters to manage accident claims
- maintains regulatory documentation and performs job safety analysis
- develops annual personal growth program with Regional Safety Manager
- ensures adherence to accident prevention programs and safety regulations
- participates in training and learning opportunities to expand knowledge
- performs any other duties to support company vision and mission
