Job Requirements
- associate degree
- 5-7 years of safety management experience
- valid driver's license
- clean driving record
- legally eligible to work in the US
- ability to travel regionally and nationally occasionally for extended periods
- ability to pass pre-employment testing
- physical ability to handle objects 50-75 lbs frequently
- ability to walk stand climb and work under different weather conditions
Job Qualifications

- 5-7 years of safety management experience with a focus on osha and fmCSA regulations
- valid driver's license
- clean driving record
- legally eligible to work in the US
- excellent communication and problem solving skills
- ability to develop implement and train employees in safe workplace practices
- strong commitment to workplace safety
- basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- online research skills
- demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment
- bachelor’s degree and experience or interest in environmental or sustainability field preferred
Job Duties
- acts as a safety resource to local regional and corporate employees and managers
- performs internal inspections audits and reports results to the management team
- coordinates and presents safety training for all Casella personnel at all levels within Casella
- investigates and assists local managers and supervisors with accident and injuries
- prepares and files all injury and incident reports and tracks claims to ensure proper procedures occur
- collaborates with an adjuster to ensure proper management and closure of accident claims
- maintains regulatory documentation and performs job safety analysis
