Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health or related field preferred
  • At least 5 years of safety management experience
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
  • CSP, ASP, or similar safety certifications preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with safety management software beneficial
  • Ability to lead safety programs and conduct investigations

Job Duties

  • Lead safety programs to develop and implement policies aligned with OSHA, state, and local regulations
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance
  • Investigate accidents and near misses, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions
  • Deliver engaging safety training programs on hazard communication, fall protection, and lockout/tagout
  • Collaborate with leadership and staff to promote a proactive safety culture
  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices to keep programs current
  • Oversee safety equipment, supplies, and maintain accurate records of training, inspections, and incidents
