Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of safety management experience ideally in an industrial setting
  • strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
  • excellent communication training and presentation skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office experience with safety management software is a bonus
  • proactive problem-solver with a passion for building a strong safety culture

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Develop implement and maintain policies and procedures aligned with OSHA state and local regulations
  • conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure adherence to standards
  • investigate accidents and near misses determine root causes and implement corrective actions
  • deliver engaging safety training programs for employees on hazard communication fall protection and lockout/tagout
  • collaborate with leadership and staff to foster a proactive positive safety culture
  • monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices to keep programs current and effective
  • oversee safety equipment supplies and maintain accurate records of training inspections and incidents
