Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health or related field preferred
- 5+ years of safety management experience ideally in an industrial setting
- strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
- excellent communication training and presentation skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office experience with safety management software is a bonus
- proactive problem-solver with a passion for building a strong safety culture

Job Duties
- Develop implement and maintain policies and procedures aligned with OSHA state and local regulations
- conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure adherence to standards
- investigate accidents and near misses determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- deliver engaging safety training programs for employees on hazard communication fall protection and lockout/tagout
- collaborate with leadership and staff to foster a proactive positive safety culture
- monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices to keep programs current and effective
- oversee safety equipment supplies and maintain accurate records of training inspections and incidents
