Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health or related field preferred
- Minimum of five years’ experience in safety management, ideally in industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Excellent communication and training abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel to eligible locations including Phoenix, AZ, Jacksonville, FL, Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX, Houston, TX, and Tulsa, OK
- Ability to investigate accidents and implement corrective actions
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field (preferred)
- Five or more years of safety management experience, ideally in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Certifications such as CSP or ASP are a plus
- Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, experience with safety management software is a bonus
- A proactive problem-solver with a passion for building a strong safety culture
Job Duties
- Lead safety programs by developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures aligned with OSHA, state, and local regulations
- Drive compliance through regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure adherence to standards
- Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for employees at all levels on topics including hazard communication, fall protection, and lockout/tagout
- Collaborate with leadership and staff to promote a proactive and positive workplace safety culture
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices to keep safety programs current and effective
- Oversee safety equipment, supplies, and maintain accurate records of training, inspections, and incidents
