  • knowledge of safety and environmental regulations at federal, state, and local levels

Job Duties

  • conduct weekly project safety training meetings
  • supervise and administer safety, first aid, and rescue activities
  • conduct incident investigation and reporting
  • thoroughly understand 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements
  • participate in developing and conducting safety training for the project
  • provide mentorship and development to assigned Safety Engineers
  • lead investigation of incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
  • advise Senior Safety Manager on compliance concerns and preventative measures
  • coordinate with safety personnel in the region on updates and significant events
  • collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and employees to promote and enforce a culture of safety
  • maintain safety files and records
  • conduct all duties in accordance with company Guiding Principles and Way We Work
  • perform other duties as assigned
