Job Duties
- Ensure all safety manuals, programs, policies and practices are current and meet the needs of the operating divisions
- Serve as an expert in EPA, OSHA, CDL compliance and regulations
- Ensure all new hires meet minimum qualifications including background and DMV checks
- Utilize safety technology tools to examine results, analyze trend data and develop plans to reduce and prevent safety incidents
- Oversee corporate safety incentives and programs including assignment of safety points
- Foster a consistent safety culture incorporating operations, safety and maintenance departments emphasizing team approach and individual responsibility
- Lead successful completion of all related audits by corporate, client staff and regulatory agencies
