Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years of experience in transportation safety
  • Valid driver’s license with one-year accident and injury free driving record
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment

  • Computer proficiency

Job Duties

  • Ensure all safety manuals, programs, policies and practices are current and meet the needs of the operating divisions
  • Serve as an expert in EPA, OSHA, CDL compliance and regulations
  • Ensure all new hires meet minimum qualifications including background and DMV checks
  • Utilize safety technology tools to examine results, analyze trend data and develop plans to reduce and prevent safety incidents
  • Oversee corporate safety incentives and programs including assignment of safety points
  • Foster a consistent safety culture incorporating operations, safety and maintenance departments emphasizing team approach and individual responsibility
  • Lead successful completion of all related audits by corporate, client staff and regulatory agencies
