Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety or a related field
- at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role managing safety programs
- strong knowledge of osha standards and regulations
- exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- ability to design and implement effective safety programs
- detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement

Job Duties
- lead and maintain ready foods' safety and health programs to ensure full osha compliance
- drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen our safety culture
- oversee osha regulatory and site-specific safety training requirements
- develop, implement, and update safety policies, procedures, and programs
- identify workplace hazards and implement corrective actions promptly
- monitor, track, and report safety metrics and trends
- facilitate monthly safety committee meetings and develop committee members
- deliver engaging safety training and provide guidance on policies and procedures
- partner with plant manager to evaluate work practices and ensure safe, compliant conditions
- collaborate with leadership to embed safety into daily operations
- assist in creating annual safety training materials and incident-related corrective training
