Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in an HSE advisory role with facilities experience
- Knowledgeable of regulatory requirements and experienced in EHS management systems
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel as needed
- Bachelor degree in safety, environmental or related field is a plus
- Industry certifications such as CHST, OHST, ASP, CSP, OSHA 500 are a plus

Job Duties
- Manage the health, safety and environmental policies, plans, programs, and procedures
- Continually seek opportunities to improve HSE performance by establishing objectives and targets, measuring progress, and reporting results
- Establish and maintain department records and reports such as OSHA 300 log, training logs, SDS book, and action plans
- Participate in management staff meetings and other relevant in-house and outside meetings
- Conduct HSE required training in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Perform annual facility emergency evacuation drills
- Prepare, conduct and document scheduled safety meetings
- Perform and conduct stop-work actions as needed
- Conduct field audits and document resolution of unsafe acts or conditions
- Perform required in-house safety training and coordinate third-party training
- Maintain employee training, safety metrics, and incident data on Velocity EHS
- Perform weekly sampling review of company JSA's
- Communicate EHS expectations to personnel and third-party contractors
- Review and maintain the required PPE supply
- Prepare and submit required customer pre-qualification documentation and job-specific safety plans
- Participate in investigations and follow-up of incidents/accidents including preparation of notifications and reports
- Administer project sites drug and alcohol program
- Perform other duties as assigned
