Job Requirements

  • Valid BCSP certifications
  • Minimum 5 years of safety management experience in commercial construction
  • Ability to work 40-55 hours per week including Saturdays
  • Capacity to work on-site in Columbus, OH
  • Proficiency in safety inspection and training
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams

Job Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of safety management experience overseeing large commercial construction work
  • BCSP certifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of EHS regulations and standards
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and documentation
  • Proactive approach to safety management
  • Experience working on-site with construction projects

Job Duties

  • Conducting project safety inspections and orientations
  • Safety training as requested or required
  • Observation and monitoring of worksite employees and safety practices
  • Complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management
  • Other tasks and activities within the realm of the EHS profession within the manager's skills, abilities, certifications, and authorizations
  • Communicating safety standards between trades, GC and sub-contractors
