Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety management or related field
- Familiarity with facilities management operations
- Ability to analyze safety data and prepare reports
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective training and presentation skills
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in safety management, occupational health, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in safety management within facilities management or related industries
- Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA regulations and safety compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate injury data and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct thorough safety inspections and deliver effective training
- Bilingual abilities preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Promote a safety-conscious culture by mitigating health and safety risks to employees
- Provide safety and workers' compensation support including training, site visits, inspections, and job safety analysis review
- Implement safety policies and procedures and measure safety performance
- Respond to customer health and safety concerns and facilitate contractor orientation
- Conduct OSHA and state/federal compliance inspections and follow-up on findings
- Deliver bilingual management training on safe work practices and safety protocols
- Maintain OSHA recordkeeping and prepare regular safety reports
