Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety management or related field
  • Familiarity with facilities management operations
  • Ability to analyze safety data and prepare reports
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective training and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in safety management, occupational health, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in safety management within facilities management or related industries
  • Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA regulations and safety compliance standards
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate injury data and develop risk mitigation strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct thorough safety inspections and deliver effective training
  • Bilingual abilities preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Promote a safety-conscious culture by mitigating health and safety risks to employees
  • Provide safety and workers' compensation support including training, site visits, inspections, and job safety analysis review
  • Implement safety policies and procedures and measure safety performance
  • Respond to customer health and safety concerns and facilitate contractor orientation
  • Conduct OSHA and state/federal compliance inspections and follow-up on findings
  • Deliver bilingual management training on safe work practices and safety protocols
  • Maintain OSHA recordkeeping and prepare regular safety reports
