Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or related field preferred
  • Five plus years of safety management experience ideally in an industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
  • Certifications such as CSP or ASP a plus
  • Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with safety management software a bonus
  • Proactive problem solver with passion for building a strong safety culture

Job Duties

  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures aligned with OSHA, state, and local regulations
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance
  • Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Deliver engaging safety training programs for employees at all levels
  • Collaborate with leadership and staff to promote a proactive safety culture
  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices to keep safety programs current
  • Oversee safety equipment, supplies, and maintain accurate records of training, inspections, and incidents
