Job Requirements

  • minimum 3 years in safety with a commercial general contractor
  • fluency in both English and Spanish preferred

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 3 years of experience in safety with a commercial general contractor
  • fluent in both English and Spanish preferred
  • strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations
  • excellent communication and presentation skills
  • ability to conduct thorough safety inspections and audits
  • skilled in accident and incident investigation and reporting
  • capable of developing and implementing safety programs
  • effective leadership and team collaboration abilities

Job Duties

  • conduct employee and subcontractor safety-related meetings and presentations
  • review all accident and incident investigation reports for completeness and accuracy
  • publish lessons learned from near misses, accidents, and incidents
  • oversee walk-through inspections at project sites with project personnel
  • provide technical guidance and expertise to Project Managers and Superintendents
  • conduct comprehensive reviews of sites to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agency standards and company policies
  • serve as primary contact and responsible for direct communication with OSHA and all safety regulatory agencies
  • develop programs for monitoring subcontractor safety performance
  • maintain regular job site attendance
  • perform other duties as assigned
