Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental health, or related field
- 5-10 years experience in manufacturing, preferably in FDA regulated production
- strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations
- excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to travel 5-10 percent
- strong collaboration and leadership skills
Job Qualifications

- CSP, ASP or other credentials preferred
- 5-10 years experience in manufacturing preferred focus on FDA regulated production

Job Duties
- Develop and improve safety programs, policies, and procedures
- standardize protocols across facilities
- conduct risk assessments and audits
- recruit, train, and lead staff related to safety
- set performance metrics and drive accountability
- promote a collaborative, results-driven culture
- ensure adherence to OSHA, FDA, USDA, EPA and other regulations
- investigate incidents and develop corrective actions and implement preventive measures
- report safety data to leadership
- support site-specific safety training
- promote proactive hazard identification and safe behaviors
- lead safety committees and improvement initiatives
- develop site-specific emergency plans
- support and participate in site specific drills and crisis training
