Job Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in construction safety
  • minimum 5 years experience in urban transit safety
  • knowledge of OSHA construction standards, including OSHA 1910 and 1926
  • familiarity with FTA's Rail Transit Roadway Worker Protection program
  • proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • strong leadership and independent working ability
  • bachelor's degree preferred
  • preferred certifications include CSM, CSP, or SMP

Job Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in the construction safety industry
  • 5+ years of experience in an urban transit environment
  • deep knowledge of OSHA construction standards (specifically OSHA 1910 and 1926)
  • familiarity with FTA's Rail Transit Roadway Worker Protection (RWP) program
  • proficient in MS Office Suite
  • strong leadership skills and ability to work independently
  • bachelor's degree preferred
  • CSM, CSP, or SMP certification preferred

Job Duties

  • develop, implement, and train personnel on safety modules that support construction activities in an urban transit environment
  • conduct periodic site safety inspections, report on findings, and make recommendations for improvement
  • perform periodic reviews of contractor safety plans
  • review construction activities for safety compliance
  • review proposed construction activities relative to safety compliance in coordination with operational and maintenance functions
  • draft reports, compile data, and present findings as required
