Job Requirements
- Safety certifications preferred including CSM, CSP, OSHA 10 hour or 30 hour
- Strong OSHA knowledge for general industry
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Experience in policy and procedural writing
- Exceptional sense of urgency and follow through
- Enthusiastic about safety
- Self-starter and results oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail safety or health & safety program evaluation
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work well as a team player
- Up to 20 to 50 percent travel
- Family entertainment or large venue experience is a plus
- Facility or construction background is a plus
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

- Minimum 5 years experience in retail safety, accident investigation and health & safety program evaluation
- Strong OSHA knowledge for general industry
- Experience with policy and procedural writing
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Publisher
- Ability to work well with internal and external partners
- Broad understanding of risk safety analysis
- Experience in family entertainment or large venues is a plus
- Facility and construction background or knowledge is a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Job Duties
- Provide direction in safety assessment including development and implementation of safety policies and procedures
- Reinforce safety standards and offer safety solutions to internal departments
- Develop and implement safety programs for corporate facilities and theaters
- Annually review and update Cinemark’s safety programs including AED program, safety guidelines and awareness
- Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to implement regulated safety programs
- Partner with construction and facilities teams to develop mandatory safety initiatives
- Track and manage property insurance risk engineering inspections
- Evaluate risks, trends and analytics to propose safety solutions
- Implement regional safety scorecards to mitigate risk
- Oversee safety communications for the field
- Respond to OSHA complaints and liaise with regulatory agencies
- Conduct site visits to evaluate health and safety hazards
- Establish accountability for safety throughout the organization
