Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EHS discipline
  • OSHA 501 certification
  • CSP, ASP, STS-C, IOSH and/or CHST certification or equivalent
  • 8 or more years of occupational health and safety experience in construction environment
  • ability to conduct safety investigations and reporting
  • willingness to travel up to 5 percent
  • ability to operate construction equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, and boom lifts
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces
  • effective communication and teamwork skills
  • adherence to company and client safety policies

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental health and safety discipline
  • OSHA 501 certification
  • certification such as CSP, ASP, STS-C, IOSH and/or CHST or equivalent
  • extensive occupational health and safety experience in construction environment
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to analyze and solve complex safety issues
  • knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements

Job Duties

  • Create and develop safety programs to support execution and compliance
  • drive behavior-based safety culture to achieve accident prevention
  • develop and monitor site-specific safety metrics aligned with corporate goals
  • conduct incident and accident investigations and implement countermeasures
  • maintain safety records and files for audits and reporting
  • lead accident and injury investigations and cooperate in legal and regulatory processes
  • coordinate employee drug, alcohol, and medical screenings with Human Resources
  • travel as required to support safety initiatives
