Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EHS discipline
- OSHA 501 certification
- CSP, ASP, STS-C, IOSH and/or CHST certification or equivalent
- 8 or more years of occupational health and safety experience in construction environment
- ability to conduct safety investigations and reporting
- willingness to travel up to 5 percent
- ability to operate construction equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, and boom lifts
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces
- effective communication and teamwork skills
- adherence to company and client safety policies
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental health and safety discipline
- OSHA 501 certification
- certification such as CSP, ASP, STS-C, IOSH and/or CHST or equivalent
- extensive occupational health and safety experience in construction environment
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to analyze and solve complex safety issues
- knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
Job Duties
- Create and develop safety programs to support execution and compliance
- drive behavior-based safety culture to achieve accident prevention
- develop and monitor site-specific safety metrics aligned with corporate goals
- conduct incident and accident investigations and implement countermeasures
- maintain safety records and files for audits and reporting
- lead accident and injury investigations and cooperate in legal and regulatory processes
- coordinate employee drug, alcohol, and medical screenings with Human Resources
- travel as required to support safety initiatives
