Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science
- Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience
- Registration or designation as Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional or Professional Engineer
- Proven experience in profit and loss management for consulting
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to conduct detailed accident investigations
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science
- Minimum 6 years experience in engineering or safety and health consulting
- Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional, or Professional Engineer registration or designation
- Prior profit and loss management experience in consulting
Job Duties
- Conduct job site inspections to monitor compliance with construction and fire safety standards
- Coordinate with project management to improve job site safety
- Inspect conditions to ensure they meet federal, state, and local regulations and document unsafe conditions
- Conduct comprehensive accident investigations including interviews, photographs, and written reports
- Coordinate loss control inspections with clients, insurance brokers, carrier representatives, and regulatory officials
- Organize and lead onsite safety meetings and toolbox talks
- Perform new worker orientations
- Supervise onsite staff as needed
