Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science
  • Minimum six years experience in engineering or safety and health consulting
  • Certification as Industrial Hygienist, Safety Professional, or Professional Engineer
  • Proven experience with safety inspections and accident investigations
  • Familiarity with construction and fire safety standards
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including clients and regulatory officials
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science
  • Minimum six years experience in engineering or safety and health consulting
  • Registration or designation as Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional, or Professional Engineer
  • Experience in profit and loss management for consulting
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct detailed investigations and report writing

Job Duties

  • Conduct job site inspections to monitor construction and fire safety compliance
  • Coordinate with project management to improve job site safety
  • Document unsafe conditions and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local standards
  • Perform comprehensive accident investigations including interviews and photographic evidence
  • Participate in loss control inspections with insurance brokers and carriers
  • Facilitate onsite safety meetings and toolbox talks
  • Conduct new worker orientations and potentially supervise onsite staff
