Job Requirements

  • Associates degree
  • prior experience in life safety or related field
  • ability to conduct employee evaluations
  • knowledge of fire safety and extinguisher programs
  • capability to manage Infection Control Risk Assessments
  • skills in coordinating safety drills
  • proficiency in hazard surveillance
  • good interpersonal and supervisory skills

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree
  • experience in safety program management
  • knowledge of fire safety education and protocols
  • ability to supervise and evaluate staff
  • experience with fire extinguisher maintenance
  • familiarity with Infection Control Risk Assessment and Interim Life Safety Measures
  • understanding of hazard surveillance and compliance requirements
  • strong communication and coordination skills

Job Duties

  • Manage, oversee, and coordinate all life safety programs
  • provide fire safety education
  • establish and implement fire alarm response protocols
  • coordinate fire drills
  • supervise Safety Specialists
  • conduct employee evaluations
  • maintain the fire extinguisher program
  • oversee Infection Control Risk Assessment and Interim Life Safety Measure processes
  • perform and coordinate hazard surveillance rounds according to DNV requirements
  • assist the Director and oversee departmental operations in their absence
  • coordinate all Infection Control Risk Assessments (ICRA) and Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM) for construction and renovation projects
  • perform other duties as assigned
