Job Requirements
- Associates degree
- prior experience in life safety or related field
- ability to conduct employee evaluations
- knowledge of fire safety and extinguisher programs
- capability to manage Infection Control Risk Assessments
- skills in coordinating safety drills
- proficiency in hazard surveillance
- good interpersonal and supervisory skills
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- experience in safety program management
- knowledge of fire safety education and protocols
- ability to supervise and evaluate staff
- experience with fire extinguisher maintenance
- familiarity with Infection Control Risk Assessment and Interim Life Safety Measures
- understanding of hazard surveillance and compliance requirements
- strong communication and coordination skills
Job Duties
- Manage, oversee, and coordinate all life safety programs
- provide fire safety education
- establish and implement fire alarm response protocols
- coordinate fire drills
- supervise Safety Specialists
- conduct employee evaluations
- maintain the fire extinguisher program
- oversee Infection Control Risk Assessment and Interim Life Safety Measure processes
- perform and coordinate hazard surveillance rounds according to DNV requirements
- assist the Director and oversee departmental operations in their absence
- coordinate all Infection Control Risk Assessments (ICRA) and Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM) for construction and renovation projects
- perform other duties as assigned
