Job Requirements

  • 3+ years in safety with a commercial general contractor
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish preferred

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish preferred
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to conduct detailed safety audits and inspections
  • Proven ability to lead safety programs and initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with safety documentation and reporting

Job Duties

  • Conduct employee and subcontractor safety-related meetings and presentations
  • Review all accident and incident investigation reports for completeness and accuracy
  • Publish lessons learned from near misses, accidents, and incidents
  • Oversee walk-through inspections at project sites with project personnel
  • provide technical guidance and expertise to Project Managers and Superintendents
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of sites to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agency standards and company policies
  • Serve as primary contact and responsible for direct communication with OSHA and all safety regulatory agencies
  • Develop programs for monitoring subcontractor safety performance
  • Maintain regular job site attendance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
