Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in safety-related discipline preferred
- 10+ years of heavy highway construction safety management experience
- 2+ years of aggregate safety training
- strong prioritization and organizational skills
- strong leadership skills
- intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- capable, licensed, and approved to drive a company vehicle
- able to climb ladders and scaffolding and walk on uneven surfaces

Job Duties
- Maintain worker's compensation case management
- maintain risk/loss and safety assessments
- conduct meetings with the operations team and client to report or review findings on accidents, injuries, and preventive measures
- manage and implement on-the-job drug and alcohol program
- coordinate DOT program and work with state DOT department
