Job Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to work onsite at Indianapolis headquarters
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
Job Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Operational Analysis/Management, Industrial Management, Engineering, or similar field of study
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group
- Strong analytical skill
- Ability to work onsite at Indianapolis Headquarters location, unless otherwise directed
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week with minimum of 20 hours for spring and fall interns
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
- Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community
- Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups
Job Duties
- Observe ASAP event review committee meetings
- Analyze ASAP, ASIAS, FOQA and Fatigue Management data
- Identify trends in data and present findings to senior management
- Research data to assist in process improvement for Flight Operations, Dispatch, Inflight and maintenance employee groups
- Understand company emergency response procedures and assist in improvement of existing procedures
- Participate in operational risk assessments
