Job Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to work onsite at Indianapolis headquarters
  • Ability to work up to 40 hours per week
  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

Job Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Operational Analysis/Management, Industrial Management, Engineering, or similar field of study
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group
  • Strong analytical skill
  • Ability to work onsite at Indianapolis Headquarters location, unless otherwise directed
  • Ability to work up to 40 hours per week with minimum of 20 hours for spring and fall interns
  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups

Job Duties

  • Observe ASAP event review committee meetings
  • Analyze ASAP, ASIAS, FOQA and Fatigue Management data
  • Identify trends in data and present findings to senior management
  • Research data to assist in process improvement for Flight Operations, Dispatch, Inflight and maintenance employee groups
  • Understand company emergency response procedures and assist in improvement of existing procedures
  • Participate in operational risk assessments
