Job Requirements

  • Experience working on large-scale CAPEX industrial projects across various disciplines such as heavy civil, structural, mechanical, electrical
  • Familiarity with process equipment and commissioning activities
  • Five years of experience preferred in safety-related roles including oversight or management of safety programs
  • Safety certifications or formal safety training preferred such as OSHA 30, CSP, CHST, or equivalent
  • Ability to work on site in Boulder, CO
  • Capability to work at various heights including climbing stairs and ladders
  • Physical stamina for bending, stooping, and working outdoors under diverse climate conditions
  • Willingness to work around construction machinery

Job Duties

  • Understand and ensure adherence to all expected safety processes and procedures related to construction and site operations
  • Engage directly in the field with construction and operations teams to enforce compliance with safety programs including lockout/tagout (LOTO), hot work permitting, fall protection, confined space entry, safe job planning and execution
  • Mentor and coach field personnel on safe work practices in alignment with safety programs and industry best practices
  • Identify and correct unsafe conditions or behaviors observed in the field
  • Escalate safety issues and report unsafe practices through proper channels
  • Collaborate with site and project personnel to investigate safety incidents
  • Actively participate in safety improvement initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
