Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years employee safety experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Knowledge of DOT safety regulations and OSHA compliance standards
  • Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including AM/PM and weekends

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ramp and employee safety process owner
  • Lead all safety committee functions
  • Facilitate all safety committee meetings
  • Assist with insurance and government-related safety inspections
  • Work closely with employees and management on all levels to ensure safety SOPs are followed
  • Conduct periodic safety and health walk-through inspections of all departments
  • Conduct monthly facility audits
  • Ensure that safety training and other specifically required training is provided for all employees
  • Conduct accident and injury investigations
  • Implement preventive measures and recommend improvements on unsafe conditions, material, and equipment
  • Conduct safety trainings for workers
