Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years employee safety experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Knowledge of DOT safety regulations and OSHA compliance standards
- Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including AM/PM and weekends

Job Duties
- Ramp and employee safety process owner
- Lead all safety committee functions
- Facilitate all safety committee meetings
- Assist with insurance and government-related safety inspections
- Work closely with employees and management on all levels to ensure safety SOPs are followed
- Conduct periodic safety and health walk-through inspections of all departments
- Conduct monthly facility audits
- Ensure that safety training and other specifically required training is provided for all employees
- Conduct accident and injury investigations
- Implement preventive measures and recommend improvements on unsafe conditions, material, and equipment
- Conduct safety trainings for workers
