Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of safety experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to obtain Airport SIDA badge and CBP Customs Seal within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Open availability to work nights and weekends
  • Availability for usual shift from 4 am to 12:30 pm with schedule either Wed-Sun or Thurs-Mon

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of safety experience preferred
  • AOA ramp experience may be substituted year for year for safety experience
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Must be detailed oriented and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and other computer applications
  • Open availability, ability to work nights and weekends as operations require
  • Usual shift will be 4am - 1230pm and schedule will be either Wed-Sun or Thurs-Mon

Job Duties

  • Responsible for SOP training for all new drivers and re-training of drivers
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining all driver files
  • Processing of all Port Authority/Customs identifications
  • Ensure all State inspections, registrations and Insurance IDs for trucks are current
  • Responsible for ensuring all drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedures
  • Assist the Ramp Safety Supervisor as needed and perform other clerical duties as assigned
