Job Requirements
- Associate’s degree in business administration, criminal justice, law enforcement, security, or a closely related field is preferred
- At least 3-5 years of experience in safety and security management with a focus on strategic planning and risk management
- Experience in a hotel or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of local laws and ordinances
- Must have a valid driver license for the applicable state
- Certificate of completion in safety and security training and/or state security license, including applicable background checks, per state requirements
- CPR, First Aid and AED certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross or HSI
- AHLA Certified Lodging Security Director certification completed within 60 days of hire

Job Duties
- Plan and roll out innovative security strategies that keep our hotel safe and ahead of the curve
- Stay one step ahead by spotting and neutralizing potential risks before they become issues
- Take charge of the security budget with smart management and deliver financial insights that drive top-level decisions
- Lead the design and continuous improvement of our security plans, making sure they reflect industry excellence and our company’s values
- Join forces across departments for an all-hands-on-deck approach to keeping our environment secure
