Job Requirements
- Valid Food Handler’s Card or ability to obtain upon hire
- 1-2 years of cooking and food production experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible or irregular hours
- Willingness to comply with all WOU and Campus Dining policies
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Must be available for in-person work at the campus dining location
Job Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of food safety practices
- Experience supervising or training others is preferred

Job Duties
- Prepare made-to-order menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen areas
- Ensure proper setup and stocking of food and supplies
- Supervise student employees in service and production areas
- Follow standardized recipes and sanitary food handling methods
- Assist in training lower-level staff and student workers
- Adhere to all department policies and food safety standards
