Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in food preparation and equipment preferred
  • related experience preferred
  • culinary certification or equivalent combination of training and work experience preferred
  • ability to function in a fast-paced retail environment
  • capability to work extended or rotating hours
  • ability to safely maneuver around moving mechanical parts
  • ability to constantly stand, walk, reach at waist, grasp
  • ability to frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic materials
  • ability to occasionally walk and reach overhead, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, climb stairs, pivot, twist, push, pull with arms, perform fine motor movements, shoulder circumduction
  • ability to occasionally be exposed to wet, cold, heat, ambient temperatures, and loud noise
  • ability to safely lift 55 lbs and manage over 80 lbs with team lift

Job Duties

  • Cut, slice, dice, chop food for recipe preparation
  • prep in accordance with recipe specifications and standard operating procedures
  • package, label, stock, rotate made in store products
  • complete tasks at assigned workstation
  • assist in multiple food preparation areas
  • assist in technical areas and with catering orders as needed
  • perform other duties as needed
