Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in food and beverage management or related role
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a hospitality setting
  • Knowledge of hospitality service procedures and standards
  • Familiarity with state liquor regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in POS and manual system procedures
  • Commitment to exceptional guest service
  • Ability to analyze financial data and control costs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food and beverage management preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and service standards
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Proficient in scheduling and payroll management
  • Familiarity with state liquor laws and hotel compliance standards
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and manage budgets
  • Experience in marketing and promotional activities is an advantage
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards including Forbes, LQA, and Rosewood brand standards

Job Duties

  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards
  • Provide exceptional service and ensure guest satisfaction with dining experiences
  • Manage a team of food and beverage professionals ensuring brand standards and required sequence of service components are executed with precision
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of liquor brands, beers, wines, champagnes, menu items, preparation methods, ingredients, sauces, portion sizes, garnishes, presentation and prices
  • Ensure compliance with state liquor regulations prohibiting service to minors and intoxicated persons
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and working condition of equipment, supplies, and work areas
  • Review sales and resolve discrepancies with accounting, track revenue against budget
  • Prepare weekly work schedules according to labor standards and business forecasts
  • Manage and approve void checks, assist with problem payments ensuring accounting standards
  • Run system-closing reports and ensure server checks are closed before signing out
  • Prepare and submit payroll and tip distribution records
  • Analyze profit and loss statements to drive revenue and control costs
  • Manage guest relations ensuring guest satisfaction and promptly addressing needs
  • Manage and direct all food and beverage associates within the department including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training
  • Conduct staff performance appraisals and disciplinary procedures
  • Lead daily pre-shift meetings and attend division and hotel meetings
  • Inspect staff grooming and attire, coordinate breaks and staff schedules
  • Foster productivity and employee morale by promoting a cooperative working climate
  • Collaborate with outlets, vendors and corporate teams
  • Contribute to marketing plans and programming
  • Lead projects assigned by the Executive Assistant Manager
  • Complete maintenance work orders and ensure readiness of materials and equipment for service
  • Document relevant information in department logs and complete closing duties
  • Collaborate with Food and Beverage Heads of Departments and participate in labor meetings
  • Assist outlets associates and other managers to ensure optimal guest service
  • Perform all other duties as required
