Job Requirements

  • Minimum of six months experience in a fine dining or casually elegant upscale establishment preferred
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail speed and accuracy
  • Must be able to prioritize organize and follow-up
  • Ability to remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment
  • Ability to follow directions thoroughly
  • Understand a guest's service needs
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
  • Ability to communicate clearly with bartenders servers and customers
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and safety rules
  • Required to speak read and write English
  • Must be able to endure various physical movements throughout work
  • Ability to reach up and down
  • Ability to remain stationary at times
  • Ability to lift and carry 30-50 lbs overhead 25 times over 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Effective communication with guests and co-workers

Job Duties

  • Stocking all supplies in the main bar before, during and after each shift including paper goods alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages consumables glassware linen condiments and stocking the bins
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the bar and service areas through regular maintenance and nightly cleaning
  • Assisting cocktail servers in food service including setting silverware serving food and cleaning tables
  • Bussing tables by clearing glassware and debris during service
  • Changing tablecloths and candles during service
  • Maintaining all standards as set by RMOTC
  • Attending all scheduled meetings
