Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum of three years experience in hotel or corporate security field
- At least one year supervisory experience preferred
- Prior law enforcement experience preferred
- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and organize work
- Strong problem-solving and judgment skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- At least three years of experience in hotel or corporate security
- Minimum of one year in a supervisory capacity preferred
- Prior law enforcement experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Birchstreet, ADP WorkforceNow, Knowcross, and Alice software
- Knowledge of fire alarm, intruder alert, Avigilon, and Salto security systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
Job Duties
- Direct the daily operations of security department
- Review daily logs and documents for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness
- Manage lost and found operations including collection, documentation, returns, storage, and disposal
- Conduct weekly, monthly, and annual safety inspections
- Process new employee onboarding including entry into security systems and issuance of access cards
- Manage and update employee vehicle registration and locker databases
- Liaise with VIP guests and manage security details
- Ensure proficiency in all life safety systems in the hotel
