Job Requirements
- 1-3 years housekeeping (hotel/motel) experience
- ability to work weekends
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs frequently
- ability to walk, bend, stand, and stoop continuously
- ability to operate tools and maintenance equipment
- ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- availability for regular and consistent attendance
- willingness to learn and adapt to new ideas and innovation
- ability to work at a detailed level under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Job Qualifications
- RV park or resort experience preferred
- 1-3 years required housekeeping (hotel/motel) experience
- Campspot software experience preferred
- 1-3 years preferred experience with resolving maintenance issues including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and appliance repair
- 1-3 years preferred experience with suggesting preventative maintenance and observing safety violations
- excellent verbal and written communication skills including active listening
- ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships
- exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask
- strong accountability, work ethic, and teamwork enthusiasm
- energetic self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
Job Duties
- Be visible and available to answer questions and help park visitors when needed
- conduct daily litter pickup, clean shower house, sinks, toilets, and urinals, sweep and mop floors, wash mirrors, walls, and stalls, empty trash, and stock comfort station closets and offices with supplies
- perform housekeeping duties including washing and folding laundry, cleaning cabins and common areas like the rec room
- educate visitors on campground rules and enforce regulations including pet rules, noise ordinances, checkout times, fire safety, and vehicle limits
- report all violations of rules to your supervisor
- clean sites of debris and rake upon customer departure
- perform all other duties as assigned
