Job Requirements

  • Part-time availability
  • Weekend availability required
  • Able to carry a large oval tray
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to work on feet up to 8 hours
  • Positive personal hygiene and cleanliness
  • Previous restaurant experience with food running or serving

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of restaurant experience
  • Previous experience as a food runner or server
  • Good time management skills
  • Able to multi-task effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to follow uniform and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Set up the front line with necessary equipment, plate ware, and small wares needed for food service
  • Clean large and small trays and tray stands to prepare for service
  • Read order tickets as they arrive and place onto ticket minder
  • Track cooking times on all orders and check finished product for quality and presentation
  • Coordinate with broil and pantry stations to time and serve hot and cold items correctly
  • Garnish finished entrees according to specifications and deliver food promptly to maintain temperature and presentation
  • Deliver food to the correct table and pivot point positions and assist servers as needed to enhance guest experience
  • Complete all side work assigned in front and back of the house
  • Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Practice teamwork by assisting fellow team members
  • Communicate any guest dissatisfaction to the Manager on Duty
