Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role preferred
  • Ability to follow recipes and food preparation procedures
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of hot and cold food items such as salad mixes, sauces, side dishes, and appetizers
  • Portion, wash, peel, slice, and mix vegetables, fruits, pasta, and other ingredients
  • Carve and slice meats and cheese
  • Measure and mix ingredients to make salad dressings, sauces, salads, and hot and cold food items following recipes
  • Ensure food is prepared according to company specifications, recipes, procedures, plate presentation, and quality standards
  • Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety standards for work area including prep tables, countertops, refrigeration units, floors, walls, and shelving
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and practices and report any unsafe condition or accident immediately
