Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a sous chef or similar culinary position
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks

- Experience in a supervisory culinary role
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage kitchen operations, including budgeting and cost control

Job Duties
- Adheres to standards of professional appearance, personal cleanliness, and proper uniform
- Displays confidence and a friendly disposition at all times
- Maintains, supports and promotes CMR culture and philosophies
- Understands and protects the financial assets of the company at all times
- Controls cost and maximizes revenue
- Communicates in a timely and professional manner with the five major groups CMR does business with
- Understands and complies with all policies, procedures, and laws related to employment, food handling, sanitation, and alcohol service within a restaurant
- Establishes quality standards for menu items and food production
- Assists in controlling all costs pertaining to the kitchen
- Maintains sanitation of the restaurant to exceed Health Department standards
- Maintains proper security of all restaurant personnel and guest property
- Directly supervises all Heart of House associates, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, and resolving complaints
