- ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents

- ability to drive a truck safely as applicable

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in warehouse operations or related field is an asset
- ability to read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
- excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers and coworkers
- strong organizational skills
- basic computer proficiency for inventory management systems
- valid driver's license and good driving record if driving duties are applicable
- ability to follow safety and security protocols
Job Duties
- verifying shipping records and correct packaging and labeling
- unpacking received goods and checking for damage and accuracy of shipment
- working with materials transport companies
- providing excellent service to internal and external customers in receiving and distributing merchandise
- complying with delivery schedules and processing deliveries accurately and efficiently
- executing ticketing process according to company standards
- stocking shipments
- pulling, preparing, and processing daily orders according to requisitions generated by stores
- reviewing orders for accuracy
- utilizing computer to manage accurate inventory for warehouse operations
- transporting orders and returns between warehouse and stores where applicable
- identifying damaged and expired products
- implementing product rotation based on product code dates
- following all security and safety procedures established by the company and branch
- assisting in maintenance responsibilities and activities
- maintaining fixtures and equipment storage
- assisting with bin location upkeep and physical inventory process
- maintaining HACCP charts and walk-in coolers and freezers where applicable
